Spooky Season Has Arrived in Northridge

October has arrived, bringing cooler evenings, pumpkins and plenty of reasons to get into the Halloween spirit.

CSUN will host its annual Pumpkin Fest on October 28, with Matador Square transformed into a pumpkin patch and fall-themed activities for the campus community. Día de los Muertos programming follows on October 29.

Residents willing to venture farther into Los Angeles can find everything from haunted attractions and horror screenings to family-friendly Halloween activities throughout the month.

Prefer staying home? October is perfect for an apartment movie marathon, pumpkin decorating or inviting a few friends over for Halloween treats.

One of the best things about living in the San Fernando Valley is having both neighborhood activities and major Los Angeles attractions within reach.

Happy Halloween from Park Merridy!
